David & Cherie Wedding Cake – May 2013

David and Cherie came to me with a specific wedding cake image that they had seen abroad that was ideal for their black and cream theme.

This cake was a five tier cake, with 4 tiers stacked with cream avalanche roses separating each tier and one single tier to the side. The single tier was a traditional fruit cake complete with black ribbon, topped with cream avalanche roses.

The four tier cake consisted of Rocky Road, Chocolate Biscuit, Chocolate Fudge and Jam & Cream Sponge. Each tier was separated with a tier of Cream Avalanche Roses and finished with black ribbon. The cake was assembled onsite to ensure a bespoke finish.

This cake really completed the theme in the venue and was enjoyed by over 160 guests

Keith’s Birthday Cake – April 2013

Keith is a Spongebob Squarepants fanatic and wanted the full under the sea theme for his birthday cake. As this was a child party cake I stuck to a chocolate cream sponge cake and iced to complete the Spongebob theme

Leaving Cake – January 2013

My daughter’s colleague in Unilever was leaving the business and they approached me to create a cake for Anna. Anna was always creating spreadsheet and juggling numbers so these were key elements of the cake design. The cake was a Rocky Road monster that kept all 100 employees coming back for more.
