David and Cherie came to me with a specific wedding cake image
that they had seen abroad that was ideal for their black and cream theme.
This cake was a five tier cake, with 4 tiers stacked with cream
avalanche roses separating each tier and one single tier to the side. The
single tier was a traditional fruit cake complete with black ribbon, topped
with cream avalanche roses.
The four tier cake consisted of Rocky Road, Chocolate Biscuit,
Chocolate Fudge and Jam & Cream Sponge. Each tier was separated with a tier
of Cream Avalanche Roses and finished with black ribbon. The cake was assembled
onsite to ensure a bespoke finish.
This cake really completed the theme in the venue and was enjoyed
by over 160 guests
